The Los Angeles Dodgers can't stay healthy, but they'd feel a little better with another solid outing by Clayton Kershaw.
The Dallas native makes his first start in Houston in more than two years Monday night when the Dodgers and NL-worst Astros meet for the first time in 2011.
With Vicente Padilla (forearm), Blake Hawksworth (groin), Jonathan Broxton (elbow), Casey Blake (staph infection) and Juan Uribe (hip) already on the disabled list, the Dodgers could be without right fielder Andre Ethier and catcher Rod Barajas against Houston (17-30) after both left Sunday's 8-3 loss at the Chicago White Sox with injuries.
Ethier, mired in a 1-for-30 slump, was taken out after suffering a right elbow contusion, lower back contusion and sprained toe after trying to catch a fourth-inning line drive by Juan Pierre at the right field fence. Barajas sprained his right wrist later in the inning when Pierre slid into home plate. X-rays were negative on both players.
