The last time the Atlanta Braves won four in a row in Houston, the Astros were welcoming opponents to the "Eighth Wonder of the World."
The Braves will try to complete their first four-game sweep in Houston in nearly 19 years Monday night, with Hunter Pence expected to be back in the lineup and looking to extend his hitting streak to a career-best 23 games.
Atlanta (38-28) won its sixth straight overall and seventh in a row against the Astros with a 4-1 victory Sunday, as Tommy Hanson recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts in seven innings.
"They have some pretty good pitching," Astros center fielder Michael Bourn told the team's official website after having his 12-game hitting streak snapped. "I'm not going to lie to you. I'll call a spade a spade. We can still compete with them, and you've got to know going in that it's going to be a grind."
Dan Uggla and Brian McCann had two-run homers for the Braves, who last took four straight in Houston from July 16-19, 1992 at the Astrodome.
