St Louis Cardinals vs Colorado Rockies

Jake Westbrook's recent dominance, combined with the potential return of Matt Holliday, could solve the St. Louis Cardinals' three-year struggles at Coors Field.
The Colorado Rockies and Ubaldo Jimenez are having their own problems at home.
While Westbrook takes the mound opposite Jimenez, the Cardinals are hoping Holliday can return from an injury as they open a three-game series against the struggling Rockies on Friday night.
St. Louis (30-21) has dropped four straight and seven of eight at Colorado (24-25), but Westbrook (4-3, 5.17) will try to start changing that with another dominant effort.
The right-hander scattered four hits in eight innings of Saturday's 3-0 win at Kansas City, five days after he allowed one run in seven innings of a 3-1 win over Philadelphia. Those solid outings lowered his ERA from 6.92.
"I'm just being more aggressive," Westbrook said. "Attacking the zone and keeping the ball down. That's the way I have to pitch. Early in the year, I was getting away from that, not being as focused, and it showed. Right now I'm feeling a lot better about the confidence in my sinker and so I'm just going right after guys."
